Simply Lawn ("we," "us," or "our") is a residential lawn-care business serving the Converse, Texas area. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because we are a small, one-person business — not an advertising company. We do not sell your information.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to quote jobs, do the work, and keep your account:

Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address.
Service address — the property where we provide lawn care.
Job and lawn photos — photos you text us for a quote, and photos we take of the work (before/after and job records).
Service and billing history — the visits we've completed, quotes, and invoices tied to your account.
Login and session data — when you use our customer portal at app.simplylawnsa.com, we store the session cookies needed to keep you logged in.

We collect this information directly from you — when you text us a photo for a quote, when we set up your service, and when you use the customer portal.

How we use your information

We use your information only to run our lawn-care service:

To prepare and send you a quote.
To schedule, perform, and keep records of your lawn-care visits.
To send you invoices and process payment for completed work.
To let you log in to and use the customer portal (view your visits and invoices).
To send you account and service messages, including one-time login codes by text.
To respond to your questions and provide customer support.

Text messages (SMS)

If you use the customer portal, we may send you a one-time login code by text message so you can sign in securely. These are transactional messages tied to your own login request — we do not send marketing or promotional texts.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies; for login codes it is typically 1–4 messages per month, sent only when you request a code.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt out: If you ever receive a text from us, reply STOP to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. STOP is honored automatically and immediately. Email codes are the login channel in use today, so opting out of texts never affects your ability to sign in.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone's marketing or advertising. We share information only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as needed:

Text-message provider (for example, Twilio) — to deliver your login codes. As stated above, your mobile opt-in and consent data is never shared for marketing.
Payment processor (for example, Stripe) — if and when you pay an invoice online, our payment processor handles your card details directly and securely. Simply Lawn does not store your full card number.
Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not use ad networks, we do not resell analytics, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

How we protect and keep your information

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide service, maintain business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Your choices

Texts: reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help (see above).
Account information: to review, correct, or ask us to delete your information, contact us using the details below. Some records (such as completed-invoice and tax records) may be retained where the law requires.

Children's privacy

Our service is for property owners and residents arranging lawn care. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
